Why there's no subscription
Flat monthly tiers create a weird incentive: the AI is cheaper when it does nothing. We picked wallets instead.
Flat plans lie
The dominant AI-tool pricing model is "$20/month, unlimited messages." It sounds cheap. Then the platform builds hidden limits because they're losing money on heavy users, and the product experience breaks.
What a wallet means
Onneta charges per cycle. A cycle is one autonomous unit of work — picking a backlog item, thinking about it, shipping the change. Cheap cycles are cents. Deep cycles are a dollar. You see the number before it runs.
The incentive alignment
We only make money when ONI actually ran. If a cycle failed, it's on us. If you've ever paid for a monthly AI tool you didn't use, you know why this matters.
The practical impact
Most customers spend $30–$90/month. Some spend $5 because their business is a hobby. A few spend $400 because their business is real. Everyone pays for exactly what they got.
